12 New Gyms Opening on the Main Line, Making 2026 Our Year

The post-pandemic yoga boom brought mindfulness and connection back to the Main Line, but in recent years, the fitness landscape has stayed relatively still. As someone who regularly travels the Philadelphia area seeking out all the workouts that you want to know about, I can personally tell you that’s all about to change. In 2026, a new wave of studios and gyms will bring fresh energy and new ways to sweat to the Main Line.

Already Up and Running and Ready to Help You Meet Your 2026 New Year’s Resolutions:

The Studio at LVX. Ardmore. 47 W Lancaster Avenue.

Clients are already sweating to Jess Berger’s Hot Body Sculpt at The Studio

LVX Gym Owner, Jess Berger, decided to add a studio space to her already existing boutique gym at the end of 2025, and she is aptly calling it The Studio at LVX. Since The Studio opened on December 1, Jess and her team have been filling up the hot room with Pilates princesses, local yogis and those who just want to sweat it all out while getting a killer workout. Jess’ signature class “Hot Body Sculpt” is a mix of sculpting, full body strength exercises and the motivating, mindfulness-driven coaching she’s known for. If you like the heat, this place is for you, as most classes at The Studio are set at a steamy 95 degrees. Don’t forget your mat, a big bottle of water and a sweat towel (or two)! You can sign up for a class  here.

The Collective Studio at The MP Collective. Bryn Mawr. 817 Summit Grove Avenue.

The MP Collective is now offering fitness memberships which include 2 body composition analyses and access to all fitness classes at The Collective Studio

This unique fitness studio was created exclusively for women in midlife and sits in Dr. Kim Einhorn’s offices in Bryn Mawr. Kim is a celebrated OB/GYN who opened The MP Collective in November as a place for women experiencing menopause. With her new office, Kim didn’t stop with medical services– she built a fitness studio right inside her office! And she hired some of the best in the industry to make her midlife patients healthier, stronger and thriving during what can be a challenging time of life. Kim boasts, “We are redefining what it means to feel strong, healthy and confident during midlife.” At The Collective Studio, Kim offers specialized fitness classes and strength training for women in a small, semi-private setting. Originally, The Collective Studio was only for members of The MP Collective, but now, The Collective Studio will also be available to the public with a fitness-only membership that includes two body composition analyses with a 30 minute doctor’s appointment for each, plus access to all the fitness classes— barre, yoga, mat Pilates, strength training, meditation and soundbath. Follow @The.MP.Collective and check out their website to learn all about their new fitness-only membership program.

Opening During the First Quarter of 2026:

JETSET Pilates. Haverford. 354 W. Lancaster Avenue.

The Main Line will be using these gorgeous machines at JETSET in Haverford by the end of next month

JETSET Pilates is the Miami based “mega former” franchise that is taking the Philadelphia area by storm as a local real estate developer with a passion for Pilates purchased the franchise and plans to open 12 area studios over the next few years. And lucky for the Main Line, the Haverford studio is set to open by the end of January. Membership presales will start at the beginning of the month. In the meantime, you can start to experience the community of JETSET with various pop-ups at local businesses such as Stretch Zone in Haverford and the Lamborghini Dealership in Devon. JETSET will be delivering all the vibes with their sprawling studios, gorgeous reformer-like machines and signature lighting and beats. Plus, seasoned mega-former instructor and General Manager, Stacey Hackett, is tasked with finding the best instructors in the area for Jet Set Haverford. “We’re excited to share what we fell in love with about JETSET with the community we call home,” says Stacey Hackett. Can't wait until January to check out a JETSET studio? Visit their first Philadelphia studio in the Graduate Hospital neighborhood of Philadelphia. And western Main Liners, don’t worry – You’re getting a JETSET Pilates studio soon, too. You can learn about JETSET Pilates Haverford on their Instagram account.

Leveaux Mat. Ardmore. 14 Lancaster Avenue.

Even the equipment at Leveaux Pilates, which is expanding to offer heated mat classes in a sister studio next door, is like a work of art

Ardmore, you’re about to get another Architectural Digest-worthy Pilates studio! In the first quarter of 2026, Leveaux Pilates is opening an attached sister studio that will bring heated mat Pilates and yoga to the Main Line. This second Leveaux studio will have the same aesthetic as the original (designer, Studio Whitford, is also working on this project). Owner, Alexa Goldman, is expanding because she sees the value of a beautiful space, great contemporary Pilates classes and a thriving community. This second Leveaux studio will offer hot mat classes and can hold up to 30 mats. Familiar faces from the reformer studio will be teaching here, but you can also expect to see some new names on the schedule. Learn all about this second Leveaux studio here.

Studio Trio. Malvern. 351 Lancaster Avenue.

Construction at Studio Trio in Malvern is underway

The trifecta of wellness is coming to Malvern in 2026! Studio Trio is a 2400 square foot studio that is created with three foundational pillars in mind: Pilates, Strength and Contrast Therapy (sauna/cold plunge). The reformer room will feature contemporary Pilates classes designed to build core strength and a balanced body. The strength training room will focus on progressive lifting. And the recovery room will house a traditional Swedish sauna and a cold plunge to support recovery. “We’re building a space that prioritizes high-quality movement, supportive community and a sustainable approach to fitness that fits real life,” says owner Maria George. Construction is well underway so expect the doors to Studio Trio to open in March. Learn more about this boutique studio here.

Rise Pilates. Wayne. 435 E. Lancaster Avenue.

If high quality, approachable Pilates for all levels is on your 2026 fitness wish list, Rise Pilates is one to watch. Set to open in Wayne in early 2026, the new studio is co-owned by Jill McKenna and Donna Anfuso, who bring a combined 35 years of experience in the fitness industry and a deep passion for Pilates to their latest venture. This intimate Pilates studio will offer small group reformer classes, dynamic mat classes, as well as personalized private Pilates sessions, led by Jill and Donna. While the studio is currently under construction, Jill and Donna are already building their community through pop-up classes at Mainline Dance Company in Wayne. To learn more about Rise Pilates and upcoming classes, check out their website.

FS8 Bryn Mawr. Bryn Mawr. (location TBD)

FS8 is the athletic cousin of more traditional Pilates – and Bryn Mawr is getting a studio in the first quarter of 2026! Operating under the F45 umbrella, think of FS8 as F45 on a reformer: fast-paced, structured, and strength-focused. Like F45, exercises are displayed on screens throughout the room and reinforced by a live instructor, creating a seamless and efficient class experience. It’s an innovative way to bring the modality that’s taken over the fitness world (yes, Pilates) to a broader audience. The FS8 workout is low-impact but strength-building, blending Pilates, toning, and yoga-inspired movements both on and off the reformer. The upcoming Bryn Mawr location will be spacious enough to accommodate 18 reformers and will be owned by Jeremie Haynes, who is opening his third FS8 studio in the Philadelphia area after the success of his Fishtown and Northern Liberties locations. Curious about the workout? Learn more here.

Worth the Wait— Expected to Open Later in 2026:

Barry’s Bootcamp. Ardmore. 115 Coulter Avenue, Suite 900.

The Main Line is pumped to sweat under the iconic red lights at Barry’s Bootcamp

The long-standing calls for a Barry’s Bootcamp on the Main Line have finally been answered! If you’ve been to a class under the iconic red lights, you already know that nothing compares to the energy, intensity and cult-favorite vibes of Barry’s, famously branded as “the best workout in the world.” Main Liners will get to decide for themselves when the gym opens later in 2026. The Barry’s workout is a mixture of high intensity treadmill intervals and strength training blocks, but what really sets this workout apart is the atmosphere: booming music, sexy lighting and motivating instructors screaming at you! This workout is not for the faint of heart, but expect your heart to fall in love with this new gym that is opening mid year in Suburban Square. While construction has not yet begun and the specific details are still under wraps, let’s hope for a signature Barry’s Fuel Bar and fully stocked locker rooms when the Ardmore location opens its doors. Learn about the Barry’s Bootcamp workout here.

Strong Pilates. Wayne. 150 E. Lancaster Avenue, Suite 100BC. (The new build located on the corner of Lancaster Avenue and Louella Avenue)

Strong Pilates will be serving up the ultimate cardio/Pilates workout in Wayne this year

Expect the unexpected with Strong Pilates, whose moto is “row, ride, reform.”. This is not your traditional reformer class. Strong Pilates is a low impact, Pilates inspired, cardio-infused workout that originated in Australia and is now making serious waves in the US– with Wayne set to be the very first Strong Pilates studio in the area. And here’s the twist: each proprietary, reformer-like machine is paired with a built-in cardio machine, like a rower or a bike, at the edge of the carriage. Yes, really! The equipment is fittingly named “row-former” and “bike- former”. I thought I’d seen it all in 2025, but apparently not. Local fitness instructor, and the newest Strong Pilates studio owner, Kelli Wilson, is “really excited to bring this concept to the area as I think people are ready for a low-impact but really challenging workout.” Same, Kelli. You’re gonna want to learn more about the Strong workout here.

CorePower Yoga. Location TBD.

CorePower Yoga has its sights set on the Main Line, and is actively searching for the perfect spot to bring its popular style of hot yoga to the area. CorePower Yoga was one of the first places to incorporate infrared heat, dynamic sequencing, light weights and even cardio bursts to a yoga class. And this yoga format has spread like wildfire ever since. There is nothing like the power you feel when you hit a Warrior II with weights in hand, sweat dripping and your heart rate soaring. While the exact Main Line location is still TBD, towns like Ardmore and Devon are on the company’s radar. To get ready and learn about this workout, check out the company’s website.

Not one, but 2 Club Studio Fitness Gyms. Wynnewood and Collegeville. 50 East Wynnewood Road in The Wynnewood Shopping Center. and 400 Front Street, Collegeville

In the second half of the year, the Main Line is expected to welcome TWO of what’s being called “the most luxurious, full service gym” in the country: Club Studio Fitness. This LA-based gym is slated to open a massive, approximately 50,000 square-foot location in The Wynnewood Shopping Center. It will house high-end, state-of-the-art gym equipment and boutique-style group fitness classes, as well as upscale wellness amenities including recovery services, fully stocked locker rooms, a juice bar and cafe, and other lifestyle amenities. There is no word yet on whether a pool will be included at this location, but there certainly is room for one! A second area gym, in Collegeville, is also listed as  “coming soon” on the gym’s website. Anxious to know more? Check out all that Club Studio Fitness offers here.

The opening of so many new studios and gyms in the area signals a renewed energy around health and wellness on the Main Line. With fresh spaces to explore, innovative classes to try and communities built around movement and motivation, Main Liners should be excited and ready to tackle their fitness goals in the new year.
