The Active Pieces on Major Sale Right Now

It’s Nordstrom Anniversary Sale time, guys! And I wouldn’t snooze on this sale when it comes to the activewear. I love to use this sale to stock up on the basics and activewear is included. Grab a new pair or two of great basic leggings, like these or these. Clean out your sports bra drawer and get some new fresh ones, like this one or this. And get yourself some shiny new sneaks because you deserve better sneakers for all of that working out you’ve been doing this year! I spent the entire day yesterday at Nordstrom in the King of Prussia mall squeezing into, yanking up and pulling off almost every activewear piece on sale this year. So come into the dressing room with me to see what I am loving.

I’m starting with this set from Beyond Yoga because like all things from this brand, I just feel so good in it— I also think the placement of the color blocking is slimming. And it’s not just about looking good in Beyond Yoga. I find that their clothes hold up for the most high impact workouts. The leggings won’t budge through squats, step ups and sprints. And the bras aren’t low impact just because the fabric is super soft.

And can we talk about this cute color block pattern? These colors are neutral but with an impact. And I am breaking my own rule to stay basic when shopping this sale— you don’t want to be wearing that same stand-out piece that everyone is wearing because it was on sale at Nordstrom. But with this, I don’t care if everyone else in class is rocking the same set because it’s that good. And girls, you too know a good thing when you see it.

Look at this back. I am so in love with everything about this set that I might just be getting it in both colors.

While we are talking about Beyond Yoga, I am going to sneak in these two everyday looks that are part of the sale from my favorite activewear brand. Because why shouldn’t you wear the most comfortable and moveable fabrics for all parts of your life?

This flirty dress has an attached bloomer and fits like a glove. I mean it comfortably hugs in all the right places. I am wearing a size medium, my true to size. It’s a short dress on me (I am 5’10”) but it’s not offensive, and I actually like this shorter length to change it up a bit. Sure, I guess you can workout or play pickleball in this dress, but I’d prefer to see something this cute at a summer ball game, on the boardwalk, or at camp’s visiting day.

This dress is a little more formal than the first one. I love how my version of “formal” dresses can still be worn with sneakers though. This dress is so light and easy to wear. With cute sneakers or even boots, this dress can be worn well into the fall.

I don’t usually leave this sale with much from Nike but this year is different. And that’s because I adore the leggings I am wearing below. They are super compressive and seamless— a great combo for those intense workouts. I am wearing my usual size leggings, a small.

This sports bra is great too, although I’d ditch the padded inserts and use my Cakes instead. I am really into this whole look from Nike because while sometimes I look like a “Pilates princess”, lately, I prefer to give off fierce athlete vibes.

Complete the sporty look with this sweatshirt. I sized up for a more oversized fit.

And these sneakers… which will not stay in stock (if they are even still available by the time you’re reading this post). The price on these fan favorites makes it a no-brainer for your cart. .

But who said Nike can’t do “Pilates princess”… IMO this adorable ribbed set would look great on a Reformer.

I usually grab a Varley sweater from the N Sale but this year, I’m bringing home Varley activewear. That’s largely because this cami is so beautiful. And the color will look great for fall.

I know the sale focuses on fall pieces but these shorts are perfection —- the length, the color, the side stripes and the drawstring detail— and it usual stays warm through October anyway. Varley, you did good with these.

My usual sale pick from Varley goes great over my new cute active set.

The Booty Boosting leggings from Spanx have been my most worn item from N Sales’ past. And this year, Spanx is giving us the same shaping activewear but in two new shades, blue and taupe.

As soon as I put on this hoodie, I had to double check that it was from Spanx because it’s just as insanely cozy as the softest activewear brands.

While I was disappointed by FP Movement’s representation in the N Sale this year, this great skirt made up for it. I know myself and the comfy and cute clothes that make up my “momiform”— and this skirt will certainly be part of it.

Every year, I give you a show stopper from an activewear brand that begs the question: Is it activewear? Is it a nice dress? Well, it’s kinda both. This updated version from Zella has a bustier style waistline for a more feminine look. You’ll want to live in this.

And don’t kick yourself when prices on these exact items go back up on August 3. So don’t forget the sneakers that are on sale. My favorites are these.

So what are you waiting for… get moving!
