Nearly Six Months Into 2026 and Here Are the Top Six Wellness Trends I’m Noticing
There’s a major wellness revolution happening right now, and the Philadelphia area is embracing it in a big way. Every day, I’m out in the community getting to experience it firsthand — and I love bringing all of it back to you.
So here are the six wellness trends I’m noticing most and leaning into this year so far:
Lymphatic Drainage Workouts
I see you guys really digging the lymphatic drainage massages that I’ve shared in the past. Recently, I’ve found a few fitness professionals teaching workouts with the same benefits: detoxification, swelling and bloating reduction, skin health and cellulite reduction, improved circulation, immunity strengthening, improved digestion and gut health, overall body slimming, inflammation reduction and deep relaxation. These instructors are using gentle twisting exercises, deep breathing and targeted stretching to stimulate the flow of the lymph fluid in a similar way that a massage therapist would. This is the coolest new way to exercise and receive some major health benefits at the same time.
Where to do Lymphatic Drainage Workouts:
Align with Allie. Allie Scott is an experienced Pilates instructor and medical professional who teaches all over the Main Line and offers private Pilates sessions at her home studio. She also has a YouTube channel (Align with Allie) where she posts a lymphatic drainage flow and guided practice every Wednesday. Her lymphatic drainage workouts are calming and restorative while providing healing benefits for the digestive system, circulatory system and obviously, the lymphatic sculpt system.
Lymphatic Sculpt at Health House. Pilates instructor, Brooke Brown, developed her own in-person lymphatic sculpt class and is now teaching it at the brand new heated studio, Health House, in Richboro. Brooke describes this class as “designed to cleanse, sculpt and elevate your body from within.” Brooke teaches Lymphatic Sculpt on Fridays at 7:15 am. And stay tuned, because she’s teaching a special free class for this community next month.
Cotton and Organic Activewear
Last month, the Texas Attorney General launched an investigation into Lululemon regarding the presence PFAS’s in their clothes. Maybe this is the action that finally got people to pay attention to what they are putting on their bodies everyday to sweat. But long before that, other activewear brands entered the chat with a healthier alternative.
Where to Buy Organic Activewear
Mate the Label: Mate is an organic activewear brand that leans into the clean girl aesthetic. They’ve built a strong presence among people searching for healthier clothing options. This brand uses simple silhouettes, clean lines and beautiful colors that are reminiscent of nature. Bonus: Mate is currently having a 25% off sale.
Aktiiv: Aktiiv strikes a perfect balance between high-performance activewear and non-toxic workout clothes. Every detail feels considered—from the fit and function to the materials and overall design philosophy. Aktiiv is a brand that doesn’t just aim to look good, but they also want to support your body in a more thoughtful way with their clothes.
LNDR: LNDR’s philosophy centers on creating technical clothes that are engineered for real training. But they are also very committed to using safer materials. Their clothes come with some of the most stringent certifications and standards in the world.
Fitness Studios with Recovery and Self Care Offerings
Locker room saunas aren’t the only self-care service you might find at your gym now. This year alone, I’ve seen red-light therapy, massages, facials, waxing, contrast therapy, compression boots, acupuncture, and even lash lifts being offered at more and more fitness businesses. The goal is to bring clients a more holistic approach to wellness. But these extra offerings don’t just bring new members through the door, they keep people in the space well beyond the workout. And as someone who’s very enthusiastic about self-care, this trend gets me super excited… especially because I’m seeing it pop up all over the area. Check out this growing list:
Where to Find Self Care with Fitness
The Accessory: Aside from a stunning space, stylish retail and top Pilates classes, this boutique Pilates studio in Ambler offers sports massage, deep tissue massage, lymphatic drainage massage, five specialized types of facials, acupuncture, brow lamination, facial waxing, and a lash lift and tint. The Accessory has a unique wellness membership that includes eight Pilates classes plus one 60-minute wellness service a month, as well as 15% off all skincare and other wellness services.
Studio Trio: Studio Trio is opening any day now and western Main Line residents will be served up the trifecta in wellness: Pilates, strength and contrast therapy. I cannot wait until that CO is obtained so I can check out this place for you all.
Studio 22: Studio 22 in Kennett Square went the extra mile for its community by combining fitness, recovery and self care. This place has a large reformer Pilates studio, a comfortable contrast therapy room and a full spa. At the spa, you can get a facial peel, one of 4 unique facials, a back facial, body treatments and a quick-fix chair massage.
Iron Turf: Members of this strength and conditioning gym in Jenkintown get the ultimate in recovery with a Theragun room, two 6D message chairs and two red light therapy rooms. I know businesses that charge a lot of money for these services, and Iron Turf includes them in all memberships. And if that wasn't enough, this gym also offers a selection of face masks, eye masks and shower bombs free for the taking to all members.
The Bin: The “Fire & Ice Lounge” is really inviting at The Bin in West Chester. That might be because it is very much needed after the killer workout in the turf gym below. The lounge includes compression chairs and boots, as well as top of the line infrared saunas and cold plunges.
The Retreat: The Retreat at The Vault is a recovery and wellness studio located above the popular jiu-jitsu gym in Delaware County. Therapies like infrared and traditional Swedish saunas, several cold plunges, red light therapy and “AI powered” massage chairs can be found at The Retreat. The Retreat is open to the public by appointment only.
Red Light Therapy
I’ve been really noticing that red light therapy can help with a wide range of ailments and concerns—with one important caveat: consistency. Red light therapy is not a quick fix. But if you have the time and patience to stick with it, red light therapy can be a great long-term wellness tool. Some of the most common benefits include improved skin health and anti-aging support, reduced pain and inflammation, wound healing, hair growth, and cognitive support. Devices range from handheld wands and wearable masks to helmets, blankets and full-body panels.
I used to joke about how ridiculous the red light masks look, but I recently bought into the hype and have been using both my face mask and separate neck and chest mask every week night before bed for a few months. Since consistency matters so much with this treatment, I think having regular access to red light therapy is essential, which is why at-home devices are preferred.
That said, device quality matters. For skin health, look for devices in the 10–50 watt range with adequate irradiance (light intensity). For deeper healing benefits, higher-powered devices—100 watts or more with greater irradiance—are typically needed for better penetration.
Where to Get Red Light Therapy For Your Home
Bon Charge: I went with Bon Charge for my personal face mask because the power is one of the highest available— that’s irradiance, LED count and wavelength combined. I love that this mask is cordless and has built-in eye protection.
Omnilux: This is another popular at-home brand that is FDA-cleared. For this reason, dermatologists and estheticians alike regularly recommend Omnilux to their clients. This face mask also comes with the highest price tag.
Higher Dose: Higher Dose aptly “delivers energy to the skin faster” with the highest irradiance level.
Upgraded Non Alcoholic Beverages
Mocktails may not be new, but the non-alcoholic beverage movement is having a major moment, and it’s reshaping the way people socialize and drink. More consumers are swapping hangover-inducing cocktails for healthier alternatives that still feel elevated, celebratory and fun.
Gone are the days of overly sugary mocktails. Today’s non-alcoholic drinks are thoughtfully crafted, sophisticated and packed with flavor, giving you all the vibes without the booze. Restaurants are expanding their mocktail menus, brands are investing heavily in premium NA options, and dedicated non-alcoholic shops and bars are popping up. What was once a niche category has quickly become a mainstream lifestyle trend.
Where to Get the Best Non-Alcoholic Beverages:
Wallace Dry Goods: This entirely non-alcoholic bottle shop is the only of its kind in the Philadelphia area. Wallace Dry Goods is packed with the finest in “boozeless refreshments” as they like to put it. Complete with a tasting bar and a large selection of NA beer, cider, wine, mixers, functional beverages, spirits and aperitifs, you’ll completely forget about the alcohol that’s missing from all of the products sold in this special bottle shop in Ardmore.
Bar Palmina: The first in the city, Bar Palmina in Fishtown is a bar (yes) where everything (and I mean everything) on the menu is nonalcoholic. Using all zero-proof spirits, it’s hard to believe that the drinks being served at this unique bar don’t have any alcohol.
NAD+ Infusions
NAD+ is quickly becoming one of the most talked about tools in the longevity space. NAD+ supplementation, when taken consistently over time, has already been linked to improved cellular function, better overall health and anti-aging benefits.
I wrote an article about MDIV, a concierge IV therapy company, and went into detail about NAD+ there. I got my first NAD+ treatment when MDIV visited me, and I explore my experience with an NAD+ treatment in that article, so definitely check out the article to learn more.
NAD+ supplements help to restore the loss of NAD that occurs naturally as we age. NAD+ essentially slows the aging process and some may consider it the real fountain of youth. For optimal absorption of NAD+, IV therapy is the best bet, delivering NAD+ directly into the bloodstream. This way NAD+ can get into your cells where it can do its anti-aging thing! It seems as though NAD+ has the prospect of extending the human lifespan. And while the science is still evolving, the potential is undeniably exciting and definitely being talked about.
Where to Get an NAD+ Infusion:
MD IV: I’d recommend MDIV for an NAD+ infusion if you live on the Main Line because MD IV is founded, owned and operated by two emergency medicine physicians. Knowing that experienced medical professionals are coming into my home to administer my IV treatment is really important to me. With an NAD+ infusion, you can experience some pretty gnarly side effects while you are getting the infusion, so I only feel comfortable with a doctor or a specially trained ER nurse doing my infusion.
As 2026 continues to unfold, I’ll share the cool things that I’m seeing out there. But my biggest takeaway about wellness trends in 2026 so far isn’t about following every new trend. It’s about finding the habits, technologies and routines that genuinely support your long-term well-being. As wellness becomes more integrated into how we work, rest, eat and connect, the focus for the rest of the year will likely remain on creating healthier lifestyles that are both realistic and lasting.
